A List of New Emojis Coming in 2018

Emojis are now a common form of communication whenever someone is texting on their mobile device or having a chatroom discussion. These small digital icons and images are so effective in communicating a particular idea or emotion. Often, people use them to make others laugh or to indicate when something is funny. As for the new Emojis for 2018, they are funnier and cleverer than ever.

A list of new emojis for 2018 was recently released and added 157 super awesome emojis to Emoji 11.0.  This is the official emoji database which includes all the official emojis in it. With this year’s addition, there are now 2,823 official emojis to choose from. There is a wide range of categories for the new emojis coming out, such as superheroes, supervillains, feet, legs, redheads, bald people, and more. Each of these emoji types has a creative selection of male or female versions of the emojis. There are even multiple skin tones of them available as well.

For example, the bald man emojis have skin tones that are light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, and dark. Likewise, you can find bald female emojis with all these same skin tones too. There is certainly no discrimination of any kind with the new emojis being released. Other interesting and funny emojis of multiple colors and genders include curly hair, white hair, superheroes, and supervillains. Aside from people, there are lots of animals and insects being added. Some of the coolest ones are the mosquito, swan, kangaroo, and llama.

"Red-haired" and "curly haired" people in the various skin tones and genders.



"Bald" and "white-haired" people.



"Superhero" and "supervillain" people.

Animals, food, tools, and miscellaneous items.



New Emojis Release Date 2018

The new emojis of 2018 can be viewed online at the website. If you have basic technical skills, you can download the emojis from the website and integrate them into your Android smartphone or iPhone. Otherwise, you will have to wait until the second half of the year before you’ll start seeing these new emojis listed on your phone.

If you own an iPhone or another Apple device, you should start seeing previews of the new emojis at some point in June of this year. The official Apple release date of the emojis is scheduled for the fall season. They will be included in the iOS update during that time. As for Android, it does not have a specific release date yet, but it will definitely be by the end of the year. So, be sure to look out for the new emojis when they get released.
