How to fill out the request form

On this page you will find practical recommendations for filling out the delivery request form correctly. If you follow these instructions, you will not only avoid errors, but also ensure a better chance of getting delivery offers from forwarders.

Step 1: Origin & destination countries

We have warehouses in 60+ countries and ship to 150+ locations, which is why first of all you need to specify your package origin and destination countries.

  1. Specify the country of origin of the items to be shipped. The country of origin in our case is the country where the store is located. You can select it from the drop-down list. If you aren’t sure what country the store is based in, try looking at the ‘Shipping’ or ‘Contacts’ sections on the store’s website.
  2. The destination country is the country the items need to be shipped to. It can also be selected from a drop-down list. You may simply start typing the name of the country and the system will automatically suggest closest matches.
  3. Specify your city or postal code. It’s up to you whether you want to provide the name of your city or your postal code, both work well for the forwarders.

Step 2: Order contents

This is the most important step, because here you need to describe your package contents, provide details on the items you want to be shipped.

  1. Select item category from the drop-down list. If you’re not sure which category to choose, select ‘Other’. Most online stores have standard product categories, so you can check which department the item belongs to and select this category. The categories are predefined, so you can’t create your own. Just choose ‘Other’ for any category not listed here.
  2. Provide a link to the product page. To get the URL, open the product page in a new browser tab or window, place your mouse cursor into the address bar, press Ctrl+A to select the entire address, then Ctrl+C to copy it. Return to Parcl, put your mouse cursor into the product page link field and press Ctrl+V to paste the link.

    IMPORTANT: Please note that the store’s home page, shopping cart or the ‘Contact us’ page are not product pages. If you provide links to these pages, you will be unlikely to receive a delivery offer. Please take a look at the table below for product page link examples.

    If the store only sells one product on its website, it’s ok to give a link to that site’s home page.

  3. Provide the item name. Here you may use your own words or copy the name of the item from the store’s product page. Please make sure you specify the item name and not the product page URL here. See some examples of bad and good item names:

  4. Specify item weight in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs). You can usually locate information about the item weight on the product page, like in the Amazon page example below:

    You may use . or , for decimals, both of them work.

    If you’re not sure about the item weight, you may take a look at the Approximate weight of goods guide, which covers the weight of the most popular goods. Press F3 on your keyboard and start typing the item category name (for example, ‘dress’, ‘book’, ‘laptop’) to find your item’s weight.

  5. Specify item quantity. Remember that the more items you purchase, the more you save on shipping. Bulk shopping is perfect for purchasing expendables, makeup, stationery, clothing like socks or underwear, etc.
  6. Specify price per item in US dollars. If the product price is specified in US dollars on the store website, you may simply copy or type in the price for one item in the price field. No matter how many items you order, you need to specify price for one item only.

    If the store’s currency is other than USD, use the currency converter, which automatically converts the store’s currency into US dollars. Once the price is converted, click on ‘Use result’.

    If you are ordering several different items, click on ‘Add item’. Note that you may add as many items as you want, specifying the details for each new item. It means that, for example, if you want to order 1 iPhone and 1 iPad, you’ll need to fill out descriptions for two items. But if you want to order 2 iPhones, you’ll only need to describe 1 item and enter the quantity without adding a new item.

Step 3: Purchase Assistance

Specify whether you need your forwarder’s assistance with purchasing the item or you plan to place the order on the store’s website on your own.

Step 4: Additional Services

Select additional services by clicking on the checkbox next to each service you want. You may select as many services as you wish. You can find out more about additional services in our FAQ section.

Step 5: Contact Details

Specify your email address. Make sure it is a valid address, because all notifications from the Parcl website and our support team will arrive in your inbox.

  1. If you’re a new user, click on the ‘I am a new user’ button, check the Terms & Conditions checkbox (of course, only after you read through them) and enter your email address. Be sure to double-check your address, as it will be used for sending you notifications from forwarders and the Parcl service.
  2. If you’re already registered at Parcl, enter your email address and the password you selected when registering your account.
  3. Once you complete the last step, click on ‘Next step’ to save and post your request.
