Parcl Website Update: On-site Chat Redesigned

Endless chat pages, inconvenient and illogical messaging, confusion between several conversations. This is how a chat area might be described somewhere, but not on, because we’ve completely redesigned our messaging mechanism!   


Communication between shoppers and forwarders is the cornerstone of successful deliveries here at Parcl. It means that on-site messaging should be as convenient as possible. In pursuit of excellent user experience and website convenience, we decided to redesign the chat area because it looked old-fashioned and seemed difficult to use.


The new chat design was inspired by messengers used on Facebook, Whatsapp and Skype. It allows users to scroll the chat up and down without the need to jump from one page to another. Sending messages is now more convenient too: the new message field is placed under the latest message sent.    


We always encourage our users to communicate on-site and do our best to make their communication as convenient as possible.
