Rating is one of the key parameters that help us make decisions when dealing with online marketplaces. Looking at user behavior patterns, we noticed that shoppers often forget to return to Parcl after receiving their packages. They may get so excited about getting their buys that the thought of leaving a review and rating for their forwarder simply doesn’t cross their mind. Some shoppers come to Parcl for a one-time purchase (or so they think), so they don’t really care about their own rating, while for Parcl forwarders rating is extremely important, as it can directly affect their sales.
To solve the issue of the rating step getting ignored by shoppers, we added an automatic rating feature. Now forwarders will be automatically given the highest rating if shoppers don’t rate them within 14 days from order completion. Shoppers will still be able to edit the automatic rating and leave a review any time.
