A couple of months ago we introduced a new Parcl points system, designed to motivate users to take required actions and do their best while processing delivery orders. Since that time many forwarders have collected thousands of points and have become leaders among their peers.
At the same time, a few forwarders who did not respond to shoppers’ requests for one reason or another, have lost all their points. The original ‘fine’ for ignoring shoppers’ requests was 20 Parcl points. While analysing the way the system worked we made the conclusion that 20 points might have been a bit too much. We witnessed a few situations when a forwarder had dozens of successful deliveries, but their Parcl points total was at 0. After a series of calculations, we decided to lower this fine from 20 to 5 points. The Parcl points collected to date were recalculated to reflect this new fine amount to make it fair.
